Founding and current Bang on a Can All-Star bassist Robert Black tours the world constantly creating unheard of music for the solo double bass. For this performance we will premiere a new work by Uzbeki composer Jakhongir Shukur.
Additionally, Bang on a Can hosts “First Fridays with Robert Black” a monthly series of virtual mini-concerts featuring brand-spanking new, recently new, and kind of new music for solo double bass.
